Nigel Denison

I have lived in Helperby since 1995.  I am currently the Secretary and Treasurer of the War Memorial Committee and organise the village’s annual Remembrance Day service.  As part of this role I have undertaken, on behalf of the Parish Council, to make a plan to restore the cobbles around the war memorial and for the long-term preservation of the cobbles throughout the village. I hope that by being a Parish Councillor I will play a part in keeping the village as a special place to live.  I am married with three grown up children.
