Did you know of the proposal to set up a large, over 200 acres, solar farm near Pilmoor Grange?
A planning application (ZB23/02461/FUL) which can be viewed at https://planning.hambleton.gov.uk/online-applications/ has been submitted for the site which lies to the north of Westmoor Road (the Raskelf Road) between Brafferton Spring Wood and the railway line.
The Parish Council asked Lighthouse Development Consulting (the developer) to set up an exhibition in Helperby Village Hall which will show what is planned and where questions can be asked. Come to the Village Hall on 8 February between 4 and 7 pm to see what may be about to arrive ‘just down the road’.
